Heather lives on the West Coast of Scotland with her almost-grown-up family, and their dog. Having an upbeat and positive outlook on life, she is known for being fair, honest, and trustworthy – always providing support with a smile!
With over 30 years business support experience, Heather has developed a comprehensive range of skills. Combining experience with passion, she launched Heather Mac VA in 2021 to support small business owners with their admin.
Heather’s motto in both work and personal life is ‘simple and effective’. This is carried into everything that she does and achieves. Working with clients, she is a clear and concise contributor, breaking tasks into manageable segments. Heather is excellent at what she does and is rated highly among those she has worked for.
Both self-development and collaboration are important to Heather. She continually adds new skills to her toolbox, investing in herself to stay up to date. She enjoys the community spirit within the VA industry, and the sharing of knowledge. Heather is a graduate of The VA Mastery Course, and is Approved by the Society of Virtual Assistants.
Always busy doing something! Heather loves socialising, keeping active, and is often found walking in the beautiful area of Inverclyde. Her skills with a sewing machine come in handy when volunteering as Wardrobe Mistress with Inverclyde Musical Youth Theatre.
